Sweat. Eat. Repeat. by Pam Nisevich Bede[/caption]You might remember my last Velopress book review on the Believe Training Journal. Since I have been using the journal I have noticed improvements in my training so why stop there?! This next book: Sweat. Eat. Repeat. The 90 Day Playbook to change your food habits; improve your energy, and reach your goals by Pamela Nisevich Bede, RD.. Pamela is an elite runner herself and writes for Runner’s World so I know she is speaking from experience. The press release called it “a tool for making real diet and lifestyle changes, as well as an opportunity to improve your relationship with food.” This intrigued me so I had to check it out. Admittedly I haven’t been eating as good as I know I should lately. I could also stand to lose a few pounds and lean up a bit. I thought reading a nutrition book would give me some extra motivation and it did. I really enjoyed this book. If you’ve had questions about Intermittent Fasting, Low-carb, macros, detox diets or the Keto diet, this book reviews it. It gives you a framework of what to eat and the part I really love about how nutrition affects performance for sport. The information given really does start to transform your thoughts into how to better fuel your body rather than eating based on emotion. You learn to eat for performance. I love all the pre-workout, workout and post workout food ideas too! Check this book out.
