Introduction

Lora Erickson, aka "Blonde Runner," is a highly accomplished athlete and certified running and triathlon coach with over 30 years of coaching experience. She brings her expertise, enthusiasm and passion to help others achieve their goals in running/triathlon events, and through her life coaching services.

Background and Achievements

Coach Lora's journey in running started in in elementary school and into high school, where she quickly gained recognition as one of Colorado's top-level distance runners. Her ability led to numerous collegiate offers, and she accepted an athletic scholarship to run for the University of Utah. Later, she transferred to Utah State University, where she earned the title of Big West All-Conference Runner and served as Team Captain.

Graduating with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Health Education, with dual minors in Nutrition and Chemistry, Coach Lora fully embraced coaching as her career and relishes the opportunity to help others.

Coaching Philosophy

With extensive experience in endurance training, Coach Lora specializes in preparing athletes for running and triathlon events.

She also offers life coaching services, guiding individuals towards living a healthier and more balanced lifestyle.

As a mother of five (one in heaven), Coach Lora understands the challenges of fitting training programs into busy everyday lives, and she designs realistic and customized programs to maximize healthy living.

Coach Lora believes in the importance of individualized training programs, recognizing that there is no "one-size-fits-all" approach. She offers unique custom-designed individual programs to meet a variety of health conditions and help athletes achieve their specific goals.

Whether you aim to run a marathon, qualify for Boston, enter your first triathlon, finish an Ironman, or shed unwanted pounds, or manage your anxiety, Coach Lora has the experience necessary to help you achieve your goals.

Community Engagement and Charity

Coach Lora is actively involved in the running and triathlon community.

She has taught weight loss classes for the American Heart Association, served as an adjunct professor at Weber State University, is a published author, motivational speaker, and offers a variety of running and triathlon classes throughout the year.

She is also the race director and founder of an annual (no virtual) charity event called "Race for Grief" held on Memorial Day in honor of her daughter, Samantha.
