Rest is Important for Proper Recovery

Too many early mornings can leave me exhausted and doesn’t allow my mind and body to recover well. 👎🏻
I believe the proper amount of rest is critical for recovery 💤 ⏰ I wake up most mornings naturally before my alarm which I love 💕 I am not a fan of getting startled awake! But then again, who is ?😆
I notice a big difference with my ability to recover from workouts when I get the proper amount of rest. If it were solely up to me I would get to bed even earlier but I am a light sleeper and I live with a bunch of night owls (can anyone relate?) So what’s a girl to do? 😩
I heard on the radio not too long ago that sleeping in complete darkness helps the body sleep better and deeper. I find a sleep mask really helps. Meditation, music…it’s all good. 😁😴
I am a huge advocate for power naps too! Those saved me in college! 😊
