You don’t have to be a fast runner to break a world record?

In 2013 On Hill Events will be attempting to break the world record for the “most runners linked to compete in a marathon” during the 2013 Layton Syracuse Marathon on August 31st.  This is a World Record Course, Olympic & Boston Qualifier event.  But you don’t have to be fast to break the world record.  We are looking for runners that could complete a marathon in at least 5 hours and 30 minutes to be a part of this team(about a 12:35 min/mile).  A portion of the proceeds from the World Record team will be donated to the Huntsman Cancer Foundation.  We are aiming for 75 + members to be linked and run together.  What a blast!

Blonde Runner fans save $20 on the event using the code BLDRUNLINK.  Be sure and register under “Marathon – Guinness Record – Team Buffalo”

If you’re not quite ready to take on the marathon, then this event also offers a ½ marathon, 10k, and crazy hair 5K & Kids 1K fun run.  There is something for everyone in the family!  Blonde Runner Fans can save $ by using the code BLDRUN.
