Zombie Training Run - FREE – Saturday Sept. 1, 2012 7:30 am. Sandy, Utah

ATTENTION NEW RUNNERS! We're going to try something a little different this year and have a NOTRD-ZOMBIE TRAINING RUN on Sept. 1st, 2012. Each year we have a lot of people for whom this is their first official run, and we love that they picked us for their first experience! We want to invite anyone that has little to no experience running to join us at Storm Mountain Park in Sandy UT for our training run. We will have Lora Erickson, "the Blonde Runner" (www.blonderunner.com) there before we start racing to give a quick coaching session on some good habits and practicing for novice runners. We're really excited to have her come join us. We are working on a few other surprises as well. We'll have a short zombie survival demonstration/instruction after Lora and then we'll start our short run around the park. It's totally a chance for you to try the advice she gives and begin gauging your progress. After we're all walking over to Hagermann's Bakery (www.hagermanns.com) for breakfast! We'll have some free T-shirts to pass out, some wristbands and any friends you bring can sign up for the race right there and then using the FB coupon code, regardless of whether they like us on FB or not. RSVP on FacebookAND IT'S ALL FREE! We're working on a good deal for breakfast at Hagermann's but expect it to be about $5 to eat there. Their delicious all you can eat French toast is amazing! We are starting at 7:30 sharp. This won't be timed by us, and we won't have a start or finish line. It's a very casual get together for those that want to learn more about running and be better prepared for the big race in October! If you want to come participate, please email us and let us know how many people will be coming with you. Send to zombie@undeadrace.com. All are welcome, but we'd like to know how many we can expect beforehand.Email us if you have any questions! We'll see you bright and early Saturday morning! If this one goes well, we may do it once more sometime between then and race day.At the very least, it's a great way to meet the NOTRD (Night of the Living Dead Run) team and ask any questions about this years race. Come have a fun morning with us!To learn more about the Night of the Running Dead Run 5K and 1 mile creep and crawl (October 20, 2012) visit: http://www.undeadrace.com/
