Obsessed with eating only foods that are healthy?

Recently I was interviewed by Healthy Utah magazine about the eating disorder “orthorexia” which is an unhealthy fixation on healthy food.  It’s basically taking healthy eating to the extreme.  I shared a concept that I like to teach all of my athletes.  The 90 – 10 rule, where 90 percent of the time you eat for fuel and 10 percent for fun.  It’s important to allow yourself some freedom and understand that very few foods are “perfectly” healthy.  Read more…
