I am a big fan of spiritual music. I love music that is uplifting and edifying and that inspires me to be a better person. My favorite CD to listen to right now is “The Waiting Place” by Calee Reed. She has a great voice and I also love the folk-pop beat of many of her songs. It’s refreshing to have a great beat with positive lyrics.
Having recently lost her mother to colon cancer in Jan. 2011 her lyrics come from her experiences and finding solace in faith. The song “She Put The Music in Me” was written about her mother and she states that this debut album “is because of my Mother.” I have to felt the hope that music brings. Thank you for bringing us this great music Calee. Your story and music have touched my life.
