Proper run mechanics and training techniques can be learned and developed to make running faster and easier. Through Outdoor Individual Running Analysis, pacing and form inefficiencies can be identified and changes can be made to improve overall running economy and prevent injury. Learning how to run smoother, faster and stay healthy can be easier than you think. Having an analysis done on you can get the direct in-person feedback you need to improve and perform at your best.
Outdoor Running Analysis
An outdoor running analysis is conducted at a local outdoor 400 meter track by a certified running coach (Learn more about Coach Lora Erickson aka Blonde Runner). A pre-determined distance is set and a runner will be timed on that distance, an all-out effort. The distance is usually between 1 – 3 miles in length.The professional coach will analyze your running technique (pacing, efficiency and form over time) to determine appropriate drills and training techniques to help you improve.
How long does it take?
An Outdoor Running Analysis takes about 30 minutes to complete. This individual one-on-one session with the coach will review results and go over suggested form changes, helpful drills and possible workouts.
What is included in the analysis?
Immediate feedback is given in the following areas;
·Video footage review
·Projected race performance
·Tips on improving performance
·Pacing & form technique tips
·Drill explanations and demonstrations
·Core/weight training exercise suggestions
