Painter’s Half Marathon & 5K - 2009 race results
February 14, 2009 – Valentine’s Day Sweetheart 5K & Kids K - South Davis Recreation Center, 550 N. 200 W., Bountiful. Early registrations needs to be in before Feb. 6th. 5K= $15/$20 on or after the 6th. The race starts at 9 a.m. A kids K will also be offered at 10 a.m. The race routes will be the same as the Thanksgiving Day run. On-line registration is available at www.southdavisrecreation.com (look under “programs”).
Note: South Davis Road Runners - be sure to wear your green shirt. We will hold our monthly mingle at the race.
February 21 – Winter Racing Circuit 10K 8 a.m. Dee Events Center, Weber State University-801-728-9121 http://www.stridersrunning.com/

Starting Sat. March 28, 2009 - Couch to 5K - Beginner running program. 8:30 - 10:30 a.m. This 6 week running class and daily running program will help you prepare for the Race for the Cure (May 16) and will be offered through the DATC. May 2nd, 2009 - Knowlton Elementary in Farmington will be hosting a 5K/1K Fun Run/Walk Fundraiser. Check-in/Registration begins at 7:30 – 8:30 a.m. The race begins at 9 a.m. The 1K will begin at 9:45 a.m. Race day registration is available for $20. South Davis Road Runners mingle at Paridise Bakery in Bountiful after the group run (approx. 9 or 9:15 a.m.). The group run starts at 8 a.m. from the South Davis Recreation Center parking lot (meet at the northwest end). We have extended our education efforts and will be doing mini clinics at the mingles. May 9th topic: Marathon running.
