Group Description and Philosophy

  1. Volunteer driven adult running group.
  2. Loosely structured organization - designation of leaders as needed.
  3. Small yearly membership fee (Feb. - Jan.) - to cover mailing expenses, run refreshments, printing etc. Donations are appreciated.
  4. Weekly training runs of varied distances (typically loops to return to starting location for parked vehicles).
  5. Support vehicle on long runs to provide refreshment, pickup extra clothing, pickup runners that need help, etc.
  6. Includes all levels of runners - in speed and experience with sharing of positive support and encouragement. Beginners welcome.
  7. Benefits include:
    1. Support and company on longer training runs
    2. Merchant discounts
    3. Regular weekly runs with long run support vehicle
    4. Shared running experience
    5. Periodic educational clinics and discounted classes
