Lora Erickson aka “Blonde Runner” is a USATF certified running coach, USA Triathlon certified coach, U.S. Master Level 2 Certified Swim Coach, NASM-Corrective Exercise Specialist and personal trainer.  Coach Lora specializes in weight loss, corrective exercise and endurance training for running and triathlon events.As a mother of four, she has many years of experience designing realistic custom individual programs that can fit into a busy everyday life. Growing up in Colorado, Lora was actively recruited in high school by Stanford, BYU, Adams State, Yale and many other colleges. She accepted an athletic scholarship to the University of Utah where she began her career as a distance runner.She later transferred to Utah State University where she earned the title of Big West All-Conference Runner. Since graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Health Education with duel minors in Nutrition and Chemistry.  Lora has also taught weight loss classes for the American Heart Association and continues to share her passion through running and triathlon camps, cooking/nutrition/gardening classes, fitness boot camps and public speaking as well as through individual consultation and corporate wellness seminars.  She also offers Running Form Classes and coaches adult swimming.

While, she continues to offer unique, custom-designed programs to help meet a variety of health conditions including arthritis, heart disease, osteoporosis and thyroid disorders.She specifically takes a personal interest in diabetes prevention.She maintains that “there is no one-size-fits-all program, everyone is different,” and takes a personal interest in each client.

Lora is an accomplished athlete and health professional, winning many awards and honors.She is the owner of Blonde Runner Health LLC and the founder/organizer of the Team Blonde Runner (TBR) -USAT sanctioned and the South Davis Road Runners in Davis County, Utah where she currently resides.Lora is also the race director and founder of an annual charity event:  The Race for Grief  to be held on Memorial Day each year offering a 10K, 5K run and 2 mile walk.  The event is held in memory of her daughter Samantha.  When she is not guest lecturing, teaching, coaching or training for her next competition, she can be found in her garden or catching worms with her three boys to take them fishing.She also enjoys karate, cooking and shopping with her little girl.
