Movie Review: Touchback

Recently my family watched the movie Touchback.  I picked it up since it was about football and thought I could get my husband to watch it with me.  We enjoyed the story line.  It was hard for me to watch the last part of me considering what might happen.  It was a tear jerker for sure.  The movie made me reflect on my own experiences and how life might of changed had I not had that cycling accident.  Then I realized that my accident was not as severe as it could have been.  I am really lucky to be able to continue doing what I love to do and competing in triathlons and running.  It’s what I love to do.  But if it was taken away from me I could survive.  I would have to find another way to enjoy it.  The movie reminds us what is most important in life, and that is family.
