I really enjoy swimming in the morning. The cold water is sure to wake you up. Often I swim next to people that seemed to be struggling with their stroke. It takes everything I can muster to resist offering unsolicited advice. I know it is bad manners to offer advice that was not asked for but I have to admit it’s hard sometimes. I just try to focus on my workout and keep my lips sealed. I was dying to offer them a flier for my upcoming Swimming for Triathlons Clinic but didn’t want to seem pushy so I refrained. Once a coach- always a coach, right?
Swimming is all about technique that is for sure. I am glad to report that my stroke is getting better and I am swimming faster and more efficiently. Swimming is very enjoyable to me because I know where to put my energy to improve. That is not something I could say when I first started. What a difference that makes! What a great way to start out the day. http://www.facebook.com/BlondeRunnerLoraErickson
