fortune cookies

One of my favorite foods is Chinese food.  Periodically my family will splurge and order take out. After practicing portion control (which is hard to do with yummy sweet and sour chicken that I love so much); I always look forward to cracking open the fortune cookie and reading my “fortune.” Generally I am not a superstitious person, however I do believe in the power of suggestion. My last cookie read: “You should be able to undertake and complete anything.” Everyone can use a little positive encouragement right? So, I guess this fortune was written just for me. I often think how fun it would be if I could make up my own fortune. I ran across a quote that I loved and would like to pull this out of a fortune cooking one day (it would have to be a big cookie).

“Consult not your fears but your hopes and dreams. Think not about your frustrations, but about your unfulfilled potential. Concern yourself not with what you tried and failed in, but with what is still possible for you to do.”

What would your fortune cookie say??
